Description:
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 was conducted with great enthusiasm and dignity at St. Dominic Savio English Medium School, Lalitpur. This annual tradition marks the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council and celebrates the values of leadership, service, and responsibility instilled in our students.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome to our Esteemed Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Frederick Mendonca, along with other distinguished dignitaries. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. A heartfelt prayer song by the school choir set a reverent and graceful tone for the event.
Our students then performed a beautiful traditional prayer dance, reflecting our rich cultural heritage and reverence. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the impressive march-past and presentation by the school captains and house leaders, showcasing discipline, unity, and enthusiasm.
The most significant moment of the program was the Oath-Taking Ceremony lead by the newly elected school Captain Ethan Smally, during which the newly appointed leaders solemnly pledged to fulfill their duties with dedication and integrity. Rev. Fr. Frederick Mendonca, The Principal of the School Rev. Fr. Ronald Urban D'Souza, Rev. Sr. Leonce, Rev. Sr. Leena, and other dignitaries had the honour of conferring badges and sashes to the student leaders, officially inducting them into their respective roles.
Following this, both Rev. Fr. Frederick Mendonca and our respected Principal, Rev. Fr. Ronald Urban D'Souza, addressed the gathering with inspiring speeches on leadership, values, and responsibility.
To celebrate academic excellence, our school toppers were also felicitated with certificates and shields by the Chief Guest, in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving the audience with a deep sense of pride and unity.
